Chocoart is a Galician cooperative based in Lugo with over 30 years of experience in the artisanal chocolate sector. They are five partners who found themselves unemployed and decided to start their own business making artisanal chocolates.
One of their first flagship products was the cherry liqueur chocolate. These chocolates are made with authentic cherries from the Denomination of Origin of the Valle del Jerte (Cáceres), which are macerated for six months and crafted individually. One of their latest innovations is the Cabrales cheese mousse chocolate, which has been very successful in pastry shops and confectioneries in Asturias. They also make chocolates with other regional products such as coffee liqueur truffles, orujo cream, and cream.
