Elaboration and Aging

Corimbo 2018 has been made with Tinta del País grapes (100%), sourced from Pagos de La Horra and Roa (Burgos), vineyards with an average age of 20 years. As for the elaboration, it was carried out in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks.

Finally, it undergoes 14 months of aging in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes of Corimbo 2018

• Appearance: Corimbo is a high-layer wine with a lively cherry red color and a red edge.
• Nose: It has a good intensity with red and black fruits, mainly cherries and blackberries. The wood is very well integrated, respecting the fruit and providing a very pleasant creamy note. The usual aromatic plants from the pine forest environment appear, rockrose, lavender, and marjoram, at sunset in the summer.
• Palate: Good volume, with the presence of fruit, well ripe but maintaining freshness. It has very fine tannins that suggest a development towards silkiness.

Pairing

Corimbo is ideal to accompany legume stews and grilled meats.

It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
