Cosme Palacio Crianza is a very elegant wine, aged only in barrels from the best French cooperages. It seeks to capture the character of the best Rioja grape with the smooth tannins of high-quality wood.
Cosme Palacio is a winery from 1863, striving to bring modernity to the wines of Rioja Alavesa in the Bordeaux style, and since then, committed to quality grapes and careful production.
Cosme Palacio Crianza is a 100% Tempranillo varietal wine. Manual harvest in 15 kg boxes. Destemmed grapes without crushing, which after long macerations are fermented in stainless steel tanks with automatic temperature control, pumping over and micro oxygenation. Malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and 10 months in bottle.
Cosme Palacio Crianza is ideal to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
