Duroc breed Gran Reserva ham with 18 months of curing and a weight of approximately 8 kgs, Torre de Núñez brand. Low in salt.

Posterior limb from adult Duroc breed pigs with 18 months of curing. The meat from Duroc pigs is characterized by very good fat infiltration, making it perfect for ham processing. It stands out for its low salt content (25% less) and its sweet flavor.

Product made following the traditional Galician artisanal process of salting and curing. The final result is a Serrano Ham with uniform and homogeneous conformity, with a round cut and no hoof, but with skin.

  • TEXTURE: Homogeneous, not very fibrous, and without pastiness or softening. Optimal fat infiltration thanks to its Duroc genetics.
  • COLOR AND APPEARANCE IN CUT: Characteristic pink to purple-red color in the lean part and shiny appearance of the fat. Homogeneous when cut.
