Etsu Double Orange Gin is distilled at the Akita distillery on the island of Honshu.
The Akita factory is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and stretches from the Sea of Japan to the Öu Mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan.
It is from these mountains that Etsu takes its fresh and light aromas. Etsu Double Orange Gin is macerated for seven days with traditional botanicals such as Japanese bitter orange peel, juniper berries, liquorice root, angelica and coriander.
After maceration, the gin is distilled without the botanicals, allowing the oils to infuse. After the distillation process, fresh mountain spring water is added, which gives this gin its fresh taste.
This is a fresh and vibrant gin that has been distilled using juniper, Japanese bitter orange peel, liquorice root, coriander and angelica.
