At Mariscos O Grove we select the best pieces in the fish markets, clean it and send it to you frozen so that it keeps its flavour and meat in perfect condition. Just select the size and we will take care of everything. The cooking time varies depending on the size. It is important not to overdo it or it will be too hard. Our recommendation in this case is to leave 40 minutes of cooking and then stop the fire and prick every 10 minutes to find the exact point, but cook 10 minutes more approximately if the octopus is bigger
If you do it in a fast cooker type express will take 7 to 8 minutes per kilo. And if you want to take it to the Galician, When you see that it is soft (al dente), we turn off the heat and let stand 5 minutes approximately. Then remove from the water and cut into small pieces on a wooden board. Add coarse salt, olive oil and sweet or spicy paprika to taste. A real delight! All a delight!
