Elaboration and aging
Glorioso Crianza has been made with Tempranillo grapes (100%). As for the elaboration, destemmed grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation, clarification, and racking.
Glorioso Crianza is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, and then it remains in the bottle for 10 months.
The Glorioso Crianza line was born in 1928 and is the most widespread brand of Bodegas Palacio. Wines made according to the traditional categories of Rioja are protected under this brand: Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva, although their aging in French oak brings their own elegance and distinction to the brand.
