JC Boisset Vosne Romanee 2019

Jean-Claude Boisset Vosne Romanée is a red wine made from Pinot Noir in Vosne-Romanée (Burgundy) by Jean-Claude Boisset.

Vosne-Romanée is the birthplace of some of Burgundy's most prestigious Grand Crus. The village is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, and the vineyard is at a perfect altitude, at about 250 metres and covers only 150 hectares. The plot where this cuvée comes from is called "Les Vigneux".

The wine is aged for 16 months on its lees in French oak barrels (33% new) with toasting at very low temperature in order to bring subtle and delicate notes to the wine.

Ageing potential: 7 years and many more.

Appearance: Beautiful ruby red colour.

Nose: Expressive nose of black fruits, violets and notes of black pepper.

Palate: Fine and elegant in the mouth with a rich structure and very good length.
