Jermann Afix Riesling is a white wine made from Riesling by the Jermann Winery in the Venezia Giuglia IGT appellation.
The vineyards face southwest and northeast and are planted on the fertile, sandstone soils typical of the Colio region. The grapes are harvested by hand and the harvested bunches are transported to the vineyard. This is where the vinification begins, partly with skins to enrich the aromas. Both alcoholic fermentation and short-term storage take place in steel tanks. An ideal wine to drink immediately, but which can evolve very well if stored.
It has a bright straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections; its aroma is very intense and persistent, slightly aromatic and characteristic of the grape variety: pleasantly fruity. Its taste is crisp, fresh and very well balanced due to its smooth texture and lively vigour.
