Jesús Madrazo Selección Ribera del Duero is a red wine made in the D.O. Ribera del Duero with Tempranillo and Garnacha by Jesús Madrazo.
Jesús Madrazo Selección Ribera del Duero is a red wine made in the D.O. Ribera del Duero with Tempranillo and Garnacha by Jesús Madrazo.
Under the endorsement of Jesús Madrazo, this red wine is part of his personal project. It is made from a blend of Tempranillo (92%) and Garnacha (8%). Vinification is carried out in the recently opened Territorio Luthier winery, using cement tanks and using biodynamic vineyards in Aranda with more than 50 years of history, as well as vineyards in Zazuar. The fermentation process is carried out in stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels, with an ageing of 18 months in these same barrels. It is clarified using egg whites from organic farms.
This red wine offers a combination of strength and elegance, seeking to achieve a perfect harmony.
In the tasting, it has a garnet red colour with a medium-high robe and a violet rim.
In terms of aromas and flavours, we can perceive balsamic notes, minerals, black fruits, red fruits, spices and cocoa.
On the palate, it is soft and delicate, but then surprises with an explosion of floral flavours, coffee, fruit liqueur, tobacco and black liquorice. The tannins are sweet and balanced.
