Finca las Comas is a unique and very personal interpretation of the Verdejo grape in the D.O. Rueda, of limited production to around 2,780 bottles, which will only be released in exceptional vintages.
José Pariente Finca Las Comas originates from a century-old vineyard, the one that gives its name to the wine "Las Comas". It is a small 2.43 hectare plot, with traditional bush vine planting from the year 1910, settled on gravelly, limestone and stony soils, located in the Hornillos de Eresma area within the Rueda Designation of Origin.
With this project, the family continues to bet on quality and innovation in their winemaking, and wanted to convey the purest expression of the terroir in the Verdejo variety. The fermentation and aging of this wine takes place in Austrian oak foudres. "Thanks to exhaustive work on the lees, for twelve months, an intense, fatty and unctuous wine has been obtained, with a lot of finesse on the nose and great volume on the palate," explains the winemaker and director of the winery, Victoria Pariente.
In its traditional dark bottle, Bodegas José Pariente has chosen an elegant design for this wine that combines the most characteristic colors of the brand; green, white and gold.
