Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay 2021

Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay is a white wine made from Chardonnay in Kumeu, Auckland, New Zealand, by Kumeu River Winery.

Kumeu River Chardonnay is sourced from six different vineyard sites in the Kumeu region. We are particularly careful to select only the best grapes from these vineyards for our Kumeu River Estate label.

Harvested by hand. Whole cluster pressing and 100% indigenous yeast fermentation. Fermentation and 11 months maturation in barrel.

Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay Tasting Notes

Well-defined aromas of flowers, citrus and white peach.

Flavours combine lime fruit with toasty oak and vanilla. The palate is medium weight and quite lean. The oak lends classic floury notes to the mid-palate. The alcohol is well balanced. The acidity is fresh and mineral, with a pure, concentrated finish that lingers.
