Laphroaig Quarter Cask

Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a double-ripened Scotch whisky in American oak casks.

Whisky even in a state of aging, is moved from standard Bourbon barrels to quarter barrels, smaller than normal for greater whisky contact with this and thus accelerate the aging process. It also gives whiskey a tannic texture and interesting oak. The general impression is that this is harder, more tannic and a little less polished than the 10 years.
