White Wine Las Margas Garnacha Blanca Vegano is made with the white garnacha grape variety from vineyards belonging to the D.O.P. Cariñena in the Sierra de Algairén, an area of gray, poor and eroded soils where the elegant white garnacha finds its paradise. The cultivation of these vines is done in a bio and manual way worked by families of winegrowers in the area, who know the terrain perfectly, the grapes come from selected vineyards between 450 and 725 meters altitude of calcareous clay soils of always controlled yields below 5000kg per hectare.
The harvest of the grapes for the production of white wine Las Margas Garnacha Blanca is done early in the morning by hand in boxes. For the vinification, cold maceration and fermentation at low temperature are carried out. Subsequently, the white wine Las Margas is aged on lees for 4 months, 75% in stainless steel and the other 25% in 500-liter oak barrels, which gives aromatic complexity and structure to the wine, making its passage in the mouth very pleasant and perfect for pairing with white meats, salmon tartare or eggplant moüssaka. In addition the white wine Las Margas Garnacha Blanca is a Vegan certified wine.
We recommend serving the wine Las Margas Garnacha Blanca between 7 and 9 degrees of temperature.
The white wine Las Margas Garnacha Blanca belongs to Bodem Bodegas, Boden means "soil" in Dutch, it really symbolizes the origin of this winery with Dutch roots. After more than 25 years working and living by and for Spanish wine, the Geirnaerdt-van Ekeris family found in Cariñena the place to which they felt deeply attached. That is why Bodem is not just another winery, but a firm commitment to Spanish wine, with the Garnacha variety both red and white and ultimately, with a dream.
