Ponsot winery, renowned for its biodynamic approach and respect for the vineyard. The 2016 vintage offers a perfect combination of freshness and maturity, delivering an elegant, complex and long-aging wine.
Appearance: Pale golden in colour with greenish reflections, bright and clean, denoting its youth and freshness.
Nose: Delicate aromas of white flowers, stone fruits such as peach and apricot, along with citrus hints of lemon and grapefruit. As the wine breathes, deeper notes of honey, butter and subtle hints of nuts and toasted oak emerge, contributed by its barrel aging.
Palate: On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with a creamy texture and vibrant acidity that provides freshness. Fruity flavors dominate the palate, accompanied by a chalky minerality characteristic of great Meursault wines. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste marked by notes of almond and a hint of vanilla.
