The Vino Tinto Legaris Páramos from Legaris Wineries belongs to the Ribera del Duero D.O, made with 100% Tinto Fino grapes. Páramos de Legaris is a commitment to the value of origin and the authenticity of the terroirs of the Ribera del Duero. The wine is the result of Tinto Fino vineyards cultivated at 900 meters above sea level in three páramos characterized by their stony soils and located in the towns of Moradillo de Roa, Peñafiel, and Pesquera de Duero. The result is a wine that transmits maximum expressiveness and varietal character. The pure essence of the region.
Vinification: The grapes are quickly transported to the winery to preserve their qualities. Then, the whole cluster is introduced into stainless steel tanks, where the different origins of the grapes are separately consumed. A cold prefermentative maceration (10ºC) is carried out for 3-4 days to extract the aromas and color, after a gradual increase in temperature. The vines begin alcoholic fermentation naturally, and to express the typicity of our different terroirs, they ferment with their own native yeasts.
It is recommended to decant this wine for a better appreciation and expression of its organoleptic qualities. The recommended serving temperature is 16ºC. It is a wine to savor and drink, although it can be favorably evaluated in the next 3-5 years.
