Macán Clásico is a wine that comes from the foothills of the mountains of Cantabria , accumulating centuries of tradition, knowledge and culture of the wine world.This wine encloses, since 2004, a great work of selection, acquisition and care of 100 hectares of vineyards and, since 2019, a praiseworthy work in the winery. It is a single varietal Tempranillo. Its grapes come directly from limestone soils with a more clay-sandy profile. This is the most Atlantic vintage , as the harvest had to be delayed until October. It enjoys a more elegant profile with more fluidity where extraction could be pressed. During aging, the impact of the new barrels was increased by 10% in order to give more depth and structure to the wine , which undoubtedly offers the purest expression of Rioja Tempranillo with a fresher, subtler and more elegant profile.
