Made from 100% Godello grapes, a variety that produces extraordinary wines in the Valdeorras region (Galicia) and is very reminiscent of the climate of the Russian River Valley. It comes from the Don Miguel vineyard, located in the Green Valley, the coldest and foggiest region of the Russian River Valley, only 15 km from the Pacific Ocean. The Godello is cordon-trained, alternating buds (here we call it alligator teeth), to create two fruit zones and thus provide optimal aeration and light quality. It shows captivating aromas of mandarin, orchard fruits such as pear and apple, and a classic floral note reminiscent of gardenias. The palate is savory, with refreshing minerality and great texture.
