Wine recommended to pair with fish and seafood
Piedra Luenga Verdejo ferments using the indigenous yeasts that are present in the soil of the vineyard and arrive at the winery attached to the grape skins. The indigenous yeasts are obtained after a year of work in the field and are the ones that give the wine the characteristics of our Casilla del Morcillete vineyard with its special climate and soil
That is why the ecological care of the vineyard is so important: it is a yeast nursery and ultimately responsible for our wines to express their identity: a faithful reflection of the soil and the grape.
The Verdejo grape adopts the identity of the Cordoba countryside. Pale yellow color with green and golden reflections. Very clean and bright. Very fresh aromas of freshly cut grass, fennel, anise and sour apple with some citrus touches. Spectacularly floral as it rests in the glass, with aromas of white daisies and orange blossom emerging.
