The Fifth Vintage presents the La Quinta Vendimia Rosé Wine from the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin (Spain), made from the grape varieties 60% Tempranillo and 40% Albillo, sourced from old vines (80 years old) in Alcubilla del Marqués and Pedraja de San Esteban, Soria.

Our century-old vineyards are planted with Tinta del País and Albillo, on different orientations over reddish clay and sandy loam soils, with a presence of varying degrees of pebbles, depending on the plot. These soils allow the grapes to develop a unique complexity and aromatic profile, maintaining a perfect balance between freshness and maturity.

For the production of this rosé, the most suitable clusters are selected, which are then destemmed and pressed directly. The must rests through natural decantation, allowing sediments to settle. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, without the intervention of commercial yeasts, preserving the authenticity of the terroir. Part of the fermentation takes place in new 500-liter French oak barrels, and the wine ages in these barrels for 5 months, giving it a subtle complexity and a silky texture.

The La Quinta Vendimia Rosé Wine stands out for its freshness and liveliness. On the nose, it offers aromas of fresh red fruits, such as strawberries and raspberries, with subtle floral and spicy notes contributed by the aging in French oak. On the palate, it is balanced, with a refreshing acidity and a long, lingering finish that invites further enjoyment.
