Description

Prima is an example of a Toro winecreamy and modern, one of those wines that knows how to showcase the goodness of the appellation while mitigating the excesses of other times. A nectar of cherries and red and black fruits. Lively and dense in colour, fresh on the nose, with a vibrant character and a touch of Mediterranean character that is surely due to its percentage of Garnacha. A modern wine, generous in fruit, as it could not be otherwise coming from a master like Mariano García
Prima is intense, liquorous, warm and accessible. It covers the whole mouth with abundant tannins, which does not mean that it is an aggressive wine, on the contrary: we have sought a stylised wine with a succulent palate, rather than a muscular one (we can also see this from its medium transparency). It is aromatic and juicy, even floral, with fine milky reminiscences that round off a finely rough, almost earthy mouth, in which, after each sip, the balsamic aromas of forest, laurel and dry thyme resound. The influence of the Grenache adds dynamism and refines the tannin of the whole, enhancing Prima's more direct and fruity profile
