PRIMA RED WINE
The Prima red wine is 90% tinta de toro and 10% Garnacha, from vineyards between 5 and 25 years old located in different plots in San Román, Villaester, and Morales. It belongs to the D.O. Toro. This wine belongs to Bodegas Mauro, showcasing their expertise in creating a modern and appealing toro wine. The vineyards used for this wine are those that do not fit the character of San Román, which is more mineral and exuberant. The Prima red wine 2011 has been aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Recommended serving temperature is between 14º and 15ºC, it does not need to be decanted, and it can be aged for up to 5 years.
