These Petit Sablés are handmade by the pastry chefs of La Sablésienne, following a recipe that has been passed down for generations since 1670 in Sablé-sur-Sarthe.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, fresh butter 22.7%, sugar, free-range eggs, salt, cornstarch. No coloring, preservatives, or additives.
La Sablésienne is an artisanal and family-owned biscuit and chocolate factory founded in 1962, based in Sablé-sur-Sarthe.
The natural ingredients used (fresh butter, whole eggs, etc.) are processed in a mixer. The biscuits are then shaped, placed, and browned on metal trays before being slowly baked. After coming out of the oven, they cool at room temperature. Finally, the biscuits are hand-packed in trays.
