Quintaluna is an organic white wine from the Rueda A.O. produced by Bodegas Ossian.

Village wine, for the production of Quintaluna we use original grapes from a selection of plots that extend around the municipality of Nieva together with the vineyard planted through the mass selection of our old vineyard. The terroir profile is a living history of viticulture. It shows a mixture of sandy soils with a high content of codo nes. A structure that allowed these vines to resist phylloxera, a plague that caused the end of the Euro peo vineyard at the end of the 19th century.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts. The grapes were harvested by hand in 15 kilogram boxes. The clusters were gently pressed after passing through the sorting table. The must fermented in small stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. The wine remained in the same tanks for nine months on its lees and further elaboration in foudre and barrels.

TASTING NOTE OF QUINTALUNA DE OSSIAN:

COLOUR: Straw yellow with greenish touches, very bright.

NOSE: Of good intensity, it presents aromas of white flowers and touches of citrus and fresh herbs.

MOUTH : Clean and fresh. Fruity and very good acidity. It shows integrity and perseverance.
