They have a high content of water, carbohydrates, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and especially potassium and vitamin A and C. Because of their properties, they are recommended to prevent joint diseases, bleeding, asthma, bronchitis, colds or diseases of the respiratory tract. They also help the liver, prevent gastric disorders, dyspepsia, kidney stones, parasites, arthritis and obesity.
