The Novilunio Mencia wine is a Galician red wine, from the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin, and made from 100% Mencía grapes planted in granitic and slate soils. The grapes of Novilunio Mencia wine are harvested by hand, meticulously selecting their clusters and fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature
Cherry red in color with a violet rim, the Mencía wine has an intense and clean aroma, evoking redcurrants and fruits of the forest, with a floral background of violets
On the palate it is a fresh, balanced wine, without edges, with a long finish. It is characterized by being a complex and elegant wine
The Ribeira Sacra DO is characterized by its steep slopes in the Sil River Canyon, where it is not easy to harvest grapes
