The Vino Tinto Castillo de Sajazarra Reserva Tempranillo belongs to the Vineyards and Wineries Castillo de Sajazarra, with a Rioja Designation of Origin.
They start with very ripe grapes, coming from low-yield vineyards. Between 10% and 20% of the total undergoes malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, with periodic batonnages. It is aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels, finishing its stay in wood with an additional 3 months in French oak vats. Finally, it remains in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being marketed.
It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16°C and 18°C.
