The Vino Tinto Valbusenda Cepas Viejas is an outstanding wine from the Denomination of Origin Toro, characterized by its careful production from 60-year-old vineyards on sandy soils with river stones. This wine is made from 100% Tinta de Toro grape variety, giving it a unique and high-quality profile. Its vinification process includes controlled fermentation at 28ºC in contact with the skins during the initial phase in a French oak Barrel-Box with a capacity of 12,000 liters. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new 225-liter Bordeaux barrels, lasting 6 months. After this phase, the wine is aged for 20 months in new 100% French oak barrels, where it gains complexity and character. It presents a garnet color and releases balsamic aromas, Chinese ink, and ripe red fruits. On the palate, it offers a round, balanced, and silky mouthfeel, with a pleasant finish and good persistence. It is recommended to serve at an optimal temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. Enjoy this exceptional wine on special occasions or as a companion to fine dishes.
