Stemming from clay-limestone soils and siliceous and gravelly soils, the Saint-Émilion terroir, combined with the method of cultivation, produces fine, fruity and consistent wines from one year to the next.

A predominantly Merlot grape variety, the St Emilion dark horse combines roundness on the palate with a red fruit aroma.
