Red Wine Vetusta Crianza
The Red Wine Vetusta Crianza belongs to the Ribera del Duero D.O. and is made up of 100% Tempranillo grape. The grapes come from two vineyards, "Carrascalón" and "Haza", over 20 years old, located at 900 meters above sea level and with a production of 5,100 kg/ha. The harvest was done in 15 kg boxes, with a maximum time of one hour from picking to entry into the tank.
Production: After destemming, the grapes from our vineyard were manually selected on a sorting table and then introduced whole into the tanks. Alcoholic fermentation was then carried out at a controlled temperature below 28ºC and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Once malolactic fermentation was complete, the wine was aged in first and second year French oak barrels (60%) and American oak barrels (40%) for 14 months. Finally, it rested in the bottle for another 18 months before being released to the market.
Consumption: Optimal temperature 14ºC to 16ºC
It is recommended to open the bottle and decant it one hour before tasting.
