Rioja Bordón Crianza, from Bodegas Franco-Españolas, is a classic crianza, with an unmistakable unique seal, and in which we could highlight the joyful blend of tempranillo and garnacha.
Bodegas Franco Españolas, located in Logroño, is one of the historic wineries of the Rioja D.O.Ca.
Rioja Bordón Crianza is made with the Tempranillo and Garnacha Tinta grape varieties. After the selection of the fruit for Rioja Bordón Crianza, the elaboration is based on destemming the clusters and gently crushing the berries. After the alcoholic fermentation and completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred to American white oak barrels (from Ohio) with medium toast.
The wine remains in barrels for 12 months and its aging is interrupted every six months to carry out the traditional barrel-to-barrel transfer.
Rioja Bordón Crianza is ideal for accompanying legumes, white and grilled meats, sheep cheese, pasta, and general fried foods.
