Sela Crianza wine.

from Decapote

{{getOldPrice()}}{{getPrice()}}

Sela is made with Tempranillo, Graciano, and Garnacha, despite being the most basic wine of the Winery, it seems to us a well-structured, tasty, fresh, and very fruity wine. A very pleasant and enjoyable wine.

Bodegas Roda was born in 1987, in a vineyard overlooking the Ebro in the Estación de Haro neighborhood, producing high-quality wines ever since.

Elaboration and Aging

Sela is cultivated through sustainable viticulture in 15 to 30-year-old bush vineyards. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak vats.

The aging is done in semi-new 100% French oak barrels. 12 months of barrel aging.

Tasting Note for Sela

  • Appearance: Sela has a vibrant red color, medium intensity, and red rim.
  • Nose: Very pleasant with a sensation of red fruit, like fresh and ripe cherries, some notes of strawberry and a hint of licorice. The wood is imperceptible despite having spent a year in second and third wine barrels. After the fruit, there is a light floral range that envelops the presence of cherry. There are also fine notes of sweet spices.
  • Palate: Medium-bodied, friendly, fresh, flavorful, and cheerful. The tannins are very polished, with a silky character. The red fruit runs through the mouth, leaving a sensation of freshness and friendliness. It shows an excellent vintage that combines maturity and freshness.

Pairing

Sela is ideal to accompany roasts, roasted lamb, stews, sheep cheeses, grilled meats, and cured meats.

It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
