The Orange Republic is a white wine from the IGP Castilla y León made with Godello by Casa Rojo.
The Orange Republic is a white wine from the IGP Castilla y León made with Godello by Casa Rojo.
The grapes used in this wine come from vineyards perfectly adapted to dry, well-drained soils, ensuring optimal development and balanced ripening. The vines are trained on trellises and the harvest is carried out manually, ensuring careful selection of the grape bunches.
The soils are diverse, including shallow slate terrain, granitic soils with high sand content, and areas with pebbles settled on sediments and terraces. The vineyards are located at altitudes between 300 and 700 meters above sea level, favoring excellent thermal amplitude. This wine has been made exclusively from free-run juice and aged on fine lees for 4 months, a technique that maximizes the aromatic expression of the variety.
Visually, it appears clean, bright, and with an attractive straw yellow color with olive-green reflections.
On the nose, it is intense and elegant, highlighting varietal aromas such as green apple, apricot, and quince, along with balsamic notes of mint, spearmint, and eucalyptus, which provide refreshing complexity. On the palate, it offers marked freshness, great persistence, and a long aftertaste that enhances its character.
