The Vallucas potatoes from Valderredible are an artisanal project born four years ago with a protagonist ingredient: the Valderredible potato, grown under Protected Geographical Indications (PGI).
This product is made in a traditional way, maintaining quality and authenticity standards at every stage of the process.
With limited and controlled production, these potatoes are fried at low temperatures in high oleic sunflower oil, a beneficial ingredient for cardiovascular health.
Salt is applied by hand, in the right amount, allowing the pure and unique flavor of the potato to stand out without the need for harmful preservatives or additives for health.
Made in a plant with six employees, these potatoes stand out for being healthy, artisanal, and authentic, bringing the best of Valderredible to every bite.
PRODUCTION PROCESS:
- Ingredient Selection: Agria potatoes from Valderredible, known for their controlled quality, and high oleic sunflower oil are used.
- The potatoes we use from September to May are from Valderredible (Cantabria). Outside of this period and when the producers in the valley are out of stock, the potatoes we use are of the same variety and from Spain.
- Artisanal Frying: Potatoes are slowly fried at low temperatures, maintaining the original flavor and avoiding overheating that affects quality.
- Manual Salting: Each batch is hand-seasoned with the exact amount of salt.
- Packaging: Potatoes are carefully packaged to ensure freshness and flavor, with a shelf life of 6 months from packaging.
- Package: 140 gr / 50 gr
