Viña Ardanza Reserva, made with Tempranillo and Garnacha, is one of the emblematic Riojas, with great intensity. On the nose, it offers spicy aromas, and on the palate, it has a gentle structure with a wide aftertaste and an elegant finish.
In 1890, the Sociedad Vinícola de la Rioja Alta was created for the production of high-quality wines. In 1996, the new winery was founded in Labastida.
Viña Ardanza Reserva is a wine that has continued to evolve over the years without losing its well-known properties, with an elegant bouquet, intense and with a prolonged bottle aging that gives it a long aftertaste. Most of the Tempranillo grapes come from the Viña Ardanza vineyard, with 30-year-old vineyards, in the town of Fuenmayor, and the rest, a selection of own vineyards also located in the subzone of Rioja Alta. As for the Garnacha, it comes from the subzone of Rioja Baja, from the municipalities of Ausejo and Tudelilla.
Aged for 36 months in American oak barrels with an average age of 3 years, with six manual rackings, and then in the bottle until it is released to the market.
Viña Ardanza Reserva is ideal to accompany red meats, lamb roasts, grilled lamb chops, game, and smoked and cured cheeses.
It is recommended to decant before consuming and serve at a temperature between 17 and 18ºC.
