Freed from the restrictions
Viña Zaco 2014 is a red wine of the denomination of Origin Rioja elaborated by Bodegas Bilbaínas.
Liberated from the traditional restrictions of the maturation process, Zaco is a wine that does not conform to any type of conventions. Far from being limited by the old rules that label wines as Crianza or Reserva, we are facing a new generation of Riojas that is considered to be simply when it reaches its full potential. Every year, Diego Pinilla, the internationally renowned winemaker at Zaco, will identify when the wine is ready to be bottled.
Viña Zaco 2014 is intense cherry colour with violet hues.
In the nose, in the first place, black fruits, violets and licorice appear. Secondly, specialised notes of ageing in casks: vanilla, clove.
In the mouth it possesses with body. Tasty, long and fresh at the same time.
