Haran, whose meaning in Basque is Valley, honors the valley in which the distillery is located, the Ayala Valley, and the pure and crystalline waters of the Nervión River that sees this valley grow.

The Whiskey Haran 21 years Original Cask Selection is made from selected malts of the highest quality, following the traditional techniques of the Acha family after five generations. Its long passage through oak barrels of different origins and levels of toasting complements and rounds off this incredible broth of unrivaled aromas and flavors, the result of a selection of 10 of the best barrels from our first batch matured for 21 years, following an old recipe. Almost centenarian family.

Whiskey with a magnificent mahogany color and amber reflections, displaying an intense layer of color that betrays its long ageing. With a very fine nose and great complexity, developing intense fruity notes typical of the cereal, giving way to citrus and floral notes on a balsamic background of spices and honey. On the palate it presents an intensely smoky and slightly iodized character giving way to earthy and vegetable notes, leaving a long, intense and very marked finish.
