Glenmorangie is one of the most respected whisky distilleries in Scotland and, by extension, in the world. The distillery, which is located near the Scottish town of Tain, in the Scottish Highlands.
Glenmorangie The Original comes from a distillery located in the village of Tain in Ross-shire county, and it distills its whisky in the tallest stills in Scotland. They use slightly peated malt and their own yeast production. It is a 10-year-old single malt whisky matured in selected bourbon barrels.
Appearance: Glenmorangie The Original has a pale lemon golden color.
Nose: Fragrance of citrus and ripe peaches, attenuated by the aroma of vanilla. Medium-bodied, leaning towards light, creamy.
Palate: Entry with vanilla aromas that give way to an explosion of fruits. Finish with hints of orange peel and peach.
Glenmorangie The Original is ideal to enjoy on its own or with a little ice.
