Blanco Nieva is a white wine made with 100% Verdejo grapes and with the Rueda Designation of Origin.
Produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Nieva, located near Segovia, with a unique terroir that produces wines of exceptional quality, complexity, freshness, and elegance. The winery was born to revive the winemaking tradition that existed in the town and region of Nieva.
Blanco Nieva is a young wine without aging, made with 100% verdejo grapes in the Nieva region, in Segovia.
The wine is made after a rigorous selection of the finest and most elegant must. It is made with grapes from old vines in goblet shape (20%) and vineyards on trellis over 15 years old (80%).
The maceration is done cold with 30% of the grapes, static settling, fermentation at 15ºC in stainless steel tanks for 23 days, resting on lees, clarification, stabilization at -4ºC, and filtration.
Blanco Nieva is ideal to accompany appetizers, fish, seafood, and even roast suckling pig in the Segovian style.
It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 8-10ºC. Keep it in an ice bucket during consumption to maintain the ideal temperature.
