Sight: 'Limpio y brillante; amarillo verdoso.'
Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta, presents us with the White Wine Martinez Lacuesta Tempranillo from the Rioja Designation of Origin (Spain), made from 100% Tempranillo Blanco grape varieties.
The Tempranillo Blanco is a natural mutation of the Tempranillo Tinto, discovered in Rioja in 1988. Since then, this variety has gained prominence for its ability to produce balanced, expressive, and persistent wines. This wine is the perfect reflection of that evolution, combining a pleasant structure with surprising freshness and depth.
The grapes for this wine come from the vineyards of Martinez Lacuesta located around Haro, in the Rioja Alta. These plots, with nutrient-poor and pebble-covered soils, offer optimal conditions for the cultivation of Tempranillo Blanco. The result is a wine that stands out for its varietal typicity, with rich aromas and exceptional elegance.
After manual harvesting, the grapes are transported in 20-kilo boxes in refrigerated vehicles to preserve their quality. In the winery, the clusters go through a selection table to ensure that only the best grapes are used in the production.
After destemming, the grapes are cooled to 10°C and undergo a 10-hour maceration to extract all their aromatic character. Fermentation takes place in tanks at 15°C, and the wine remains on its lees until bottling. The periodic stirring of the lees adds additional complexity that enhances the wine's personality.
This wine is ideal for those looking for a different experience in Rioja whites. Its balance between freshness, persistence, and structure makes it a perfect choice to pair with fish, seafood, rice dishes, or simply enjoy on a special occasion.
Don't miss the opportunity to buy the White Wine Martinez Lacuesta Tempranillo Blanco and discover the essence of a unique variety that is transforming Rioja's white wines. Place your order now in our online store and let yourself be seduced by its purity and elegance.
