The White Wine Vile La Finca Albarín.
This wine is produced in Valdevimbre, in the province of León, an area where the few vineyards of ALBARÍN grape are found. Specifically, the vineyards selected to produce Vile La Finca wine are located at 830 meters and have very poor sandy-loamy soils with little organic matter and a lot of pebbles, which allows for soil aeration, promotes drainage and root development, and helps to "regulate" temperature, as it "collects heat" during the day and releases it at night, avoiding large temperature contrasts, which favors the development of the vines.
The harvest is done manually in 15kg boxes and at night, so that the grapes arrive fresh and in perfect condition at the winery, where they are destemmed, lightly crushed, and transferred to French oak Bordeaux barrels where alcoholic fermentation takes place. When fermentation is complete, aging is done with its lees for 16 months in the barrels. It is a different wine, surprising, undoubtedly a great representative of the Albarín variety as it offers a very particular interpretation of this typical variety from the León region.
