Abadía Retuerta Le Domaine Blanco is an innovative creation from the renowned winery in Sardón de Duero. It is made primarily from Sauvignon Blanc, complemented by Verdejo and other white varieties. The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards situated between 700 and 850 meters above sea level. This wine undergoes fermentation followed by 5 to 6 months of aging in French oak barrels, adding complexity and structure. Tasting notes reveal a pale yellow color and fresh aromas of grapefruit and mandarin, with a floral bouquet and hints of white fruits and wood. On the palate, it is broad and creamy, balanced by fresh acidity. Ideal pairings include fatty fish, seafood, rice, white meats, foie gras, and cheeses. The magnum presentation of 150 cl ensures slower aging, perfect for collectors. It is recommended to serve at 9-11°C.
