Alión, from Bodega Vega Sicilia, is a red wine belonging to the Ribera del Duero designation of origin. This wine is 100% made from Tinta Fina grapes. The harvest is done manually in 12 kg boxes, followed by a rigorous selection in the winery. Fermentation takes place in wooden tanks under temperature control for optimal polyphenolic extraction. Aging occurs for 12 to 14 months in new French oak barrels and cement tanks, providing a firm structure and intense color. Alión rests for at least 15 months after bottling, perfectly integrating its tannins and developing sublime aromatic complexity. This wine offers a powerful and elegant mouthfeel, with polished tannins and a persistent finish. Ideal for red meats and aged cheeses, its recommended serving temperature is between 16-18°C. Decant at least 30 minutes before enjoying.
