Alión is a prominent red wine from the Ribera del Duero designation, made with 100% Tinta Fina grapes. Produced by the prestigious Bodega Vega Sicilia, this wine carries a legacy of quality and authenticity. The harvest is done manually in 12 kg boxes, ensuring the selection of the best grapes. The vinification process is meticulous; fermentations occur in temperature-controlled wooden tanks, contributing to appropriate polyphenolic extraction, resulting in an attractive color and firm structure. Afterwards, Alión ages in new French oak barrels and in cement tanks for a period of 12 to 14 months. This refined process ensures the wine acquires the desired aromas and nuances, making it a masterpiece in its category. After this aging process, the wine rests in bottles for at least 15 months, allowing the integration of primary aromas with the nuances gained from its aging.
