Amador Medrano Graciano is a red wine made with 100% Graciano grapes from the Valdegamarra vineyard located at 620 meters of altitude in the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria. It is a vineyard that has been planted with the highest density allowed by the Regulatory Council to achieve competition between strains that reduces production and improves quality.

Amador Medrano Graciano is a red wine made with 100% Graciano grapes from the Valdegamarra vineyard located at an altitude of 620 meters in the foothills of the Sierra Cantabria. It is a vineyard that has been planted at the highest density permitted by the Control Board to achieve competition between vines to reduce production and improve quality. The grapes are harvested by hand and, after vinification in wooden vats, the wine is aged for just over half a year in French oak barrels. The wine is fresh and with a low alcohol content (just 13.5 degrees), fruity and silky as befits the variety and the quality of the terroir.

Bodegas Medrano Irazu is located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa (Elvillar) 4 kilometers from Laguardia. Amador Medrano is a newly created line of wines named after the second generation of the family to take over the winery. Under the name Amador Medrano, they use the most vineyards located at an altitude above the normal in the D.O.C. Rioja, which makes for a lower production, but a noticeable difference in quality.
