Artuke El Escolladero is a very limited production red wine, resulting from the meticulous work of brothers Miguel and Roberto Blanco, who lead the Artuke winery, known for its philosophy of absolute respect for the terroir. This wine, which comes from a unique plot on the slope of an ancient glacis in Baños de Ebro, Rioja Alavesa, is primarily made from Tempranillo grapes, complemented by a small part of other indigenous varieties. Its pure expression of the vineyard is reflected in its complexity and freshness, placing it among the great estate wines of the region. Visually, it shows a cherry red color with violet reflections, distinguished by its medium body and fine tears. On the nose, it unveils complex and elegant aromas, where fresh red fruits like cherry and raspberry predominate, alongside floral notes of violet and balsamic nuances. The mineral background and subtle hints of sweet spices and cocoa, stemming from its aging in used French oak, further enrich its aromatic profile. On the palate, it stands out for its freshness from the start, offering a silky texture with fine tannins and great balance.
