Clos de l’Obac Miserere is a masterpiece of Priorat viticulture, produced by Costers del Siurana, a pioneering winery in the revolution of quality wines in Priorat.
This wine is a balanced and timeless blend, composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Merlot, Syrah and Tempranillo, sourced from vineyards cultivated on costers (steep slopes) of licorella, the characteristic slate soil of Priorat.
Unlike other wines from the same terroir, Miserere opts for a more restrained, elegant and long-lived expression, becoming an age-worthy wine with a Burgundian soul within the Mediterranean heart.
Deep, dark purple color.
On the nose, it shows medium-high complexity with intense aromas of black fruits (blackberries, cherries), marked minerality, spices, tobacco, leather and licorice.
On the palate it is highly elegant and spicy, with notes of cocoa and vanilla, silky tannins and an extraordinarily long and harmonious finish.
Historic terroir: Grapes from the Mas d'en Bruno estate (13th century) with pure llicorella soils.
Unique blend: Innovative mix of Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo.
Premium aging: Careful aging in French oak barrels that provides complexity and longevity.
International recognition: Considered one of the most elegant and structured age-worthy wines of DOQ Priorat.
It is recommended to decant between 1 and 2 hours before consumption to allow the wine to oxygenate and fully express its aromatic range.
Serve at a temperature of 16–18°C in Bordeaux-style glasses. It is the ideal companion for grilled red meats, roast lamb, game (such as deer or wild boar) and aged cheeses with intense flavor.
