Traditional work in vineyard and winery, ensuring the maximum expression of the terroir, where the Carignan variety is a symbol of "tradition", so this Tradition cuvée has a strong aromatic intensity.

Blend of 50% Carignan, 10% Grenache and 40% Syrah from 30 to 60 year old vines, on schist soils. Aged between 24 and 26 months in oak barrels, 10% new.

On the heights of Faugères, in Lentheric, Didier Barral runs Domaine Léon Barral. Recognised as one of the leading exponents of French biodynamics, he cultivates his 13 hectares in an "artisanal" way with livestock.

Firm, fleshy, spicy, rich and complex: he found nothing when he bottled this great unfiltered wine after two winters in barrel in his cold stone cellar.
