Godeval Revival is a liquid testament to the winemaking history of Galicia, representing the highest expression of the Godello grape in the D.O. Valdeorras. This wine is produced exclusively from the emblematic “Pancho” vineyard, a historic plot characterized by its slate soils and a unique microclimate that defines the typicity of the region.
Its name pays tribute to the “REVIVAL” project (Restructuring of Valdeorras Vineyards), launched in the 1970s, which rescued this native variety from extinction. Crafted from a meticulous selection of grapes and aged on its lees for approximately 5 months, Godeval Revival offers complexity and structure that set it apart from traditional young white wines.
In the glass, it shows a bright greenish-yellow color, revealing an intense nose of ripe white fruit, herbaceous notes of fennel, and an unmistakable mineral background imparted by the slate soils. On the palate, it is unctuous, glyceric, and persistent, with vibrant acidity that promises excellent aging potential. A true gem for collectors and lovers of Atlantic-style whites with character.
Serve between 10–12°C in a Burgundy-style glass to enhance its aromas. Ideally decant 15 minutes before serving.
