Goyo García Viadero Finca Viñas de Arcilla is a splendid red wine produced under the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. This exceptional wine is the result of the work of winemaker Goyo García Viadero, who uses exclusively Tempranillo grapes. The grapes come from a vineyard located in the Burgos province, where impressive old vines, reaching 100 years in age, are found. This vineyard has the peculiarity of a soil type, composed of red sand and clay, which provides unique characteristics to the grapes. The vinification of this wine is an art in itself. Goyo García opts for a special process that includes fermentation with native yeasts and a prolonged maceration of 3 months. Subsequently, the wine is aged in used French oak barrels, adding complexity and elegance before it is finished in bottle for a period of 1 to 2 years.
