It is a coupage of Tempranillo and Graciano elaborated from a selection of old vineyards of very low production, planted in poor soils of the terraces of the Ebro around San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). It goes through a classic 20 months ageing in French oak and American oak casks. Then, it is clarified with egg white and bottled. It remains a minimum of two years of ageing in the bottle before its release to the market.
